If your BMI is not showing on your iHealth scale, this is normal. BMI is calculated and displayed in the iHealth app, not on the scale screen.
Why this happens
- BMI is calculated in the app
BMI is calculated using your height and weight, which are stored in your app profile. - Scale display is limited
The scale only shows basic measurements such as weight and body fat. BMI and other metrics are available in the app. - Profile information is required
BMI cannot be calculated unless your height and personal details are entered in the app.
How to view your BMI
- Open the iHealth MyVitals app
- Select your measurement
- View your results, including BMI and other body composition data
Where to find your profile in the app
To view or update your profile information:
- Open the iHealth MyVitals app
- Tap Account
- Then select your profile at the top of the screen to view or edit your information
What to check in your profile
Make sure the following information is entered correctly:
- Height
- Age / Date of birth
- Gender
This information is required to calculate BMI and other body composition results.
Important note
BMI is an estimate based on height and weight and may not reflect overall health. For medical advice, consult a healthcare professional.
