Product Description
The iHealth Wireless Pulse Oximeter measures the amount of oxygen in your blood and your pulse rate. The oximeter works by shining two light beams into the small blood vessels or capillaries of the finger, reflecting the amount of oxygen in the blood and displaying the measurement on the oximeter’s screen. The oxygen saturation (SpO2) is measured as a percentage of full capacity.
Typically, a SpO2 reading between 96%-99% is considered normal. High altitudes and other factors may affect what is considered normal for a given individual.
USING YOUR PULSE OXIMETER
Charge The Battery Before First Use
Plug the iHealth Wireless Pulse Oximeter into a USB port for three hours or until the battery indicator turns off.
Download App

Turn Bluetooth “On”
Your iHealth Wireless Pulse Oximeter uses Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (BLE) technology. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and launch the app to initiate the connection. The Bluetooth icon will light up and stop flashing when a successful connection is established. The date and time of the Pulse Oximeter will be synced with your mobile device upon first successful connection.
Testing Instructions
- Open the pulse oximeter clip, then place the middle, ring or index finger of your left hand in the rubber opening of the oximeter, with the nail facing downward as shown in the picture.
- On the front panel, press the button once to turn the oximeter on.
- Keep your hand still during the measurement.
- After a few seconds, your SpO2 value will be displayed on the oximeter's screen and in the app, if it is open on your smartphone.
- If the signal is too weak, change to a different finger and try again.
- Remove the oximeter from your finger. The oximeter will turn off automatically after 8 seconds.
Online Measurement (with the app)
An online measurement is a measurement made with the iHealth MyVitals app open on your smartphone and account.
Preparation for a measurement
To ensure reliable measurements, please follow the precautions for use.
- Place the device on any finger except the thumb. The best is the index or middle finger. See How to place the pulse oximeter properly.
- Keep your finger as still as possible, do not run and do not walk throughout the measurement.
- Breathe normally.
- Once the oximeter/smartphone connection is established, press the button on the device.
Result
Once measurement starts, the SpO2 level, heart rate and infusion index are displayed on the app's results page.
To complete the measurement, just press the button on the pulse oximeter again or remove your finger. Once the measurement has completed, a summary page is displayed.
To add to your measurement and give your doctor more information about your condition at the time of measurement, you can add notes.
Offline Measurements
After the pulse oximeter has been used with your mobile device the first time, the date and time of the pulse oximeter will be synchronized. The oximeter can also be used without being connected to an mobile device. In this case, the measurement data is stored in memory and can be uploaded to the app when the connection is re-established. The pulse oximeter can store up to 100 measurements. When the memory is full, any new measurements overwrite the oldest ones.
All these offline measurements are automatically synchronized as soon as one of the oximeter's users establishes a connection between the scale and the iHealth MyVitals app. This will happen, for example, as soon as one of the users makes an online measurement (a measurement made with the iHealth MyVitals app open on their account).
Each of the pulse oximeter's users can then retrieve their offline measurements from the Sync Data option in the app.
To do this, go to Devices> Air PO3 > Sync Data
A page appears with all the unsynchronized measurements.
Click Upload Reading(s) and click on the icon to the left of the measurements that you want to synchronize with your account.
The app automatically selects all the measurements. Click Upload Reading(s) to upload all the selected measurements to your account.
Viewing results in the app
- Open the iHealth MyVitals app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Devices> History Data or Trends> History
- Click on one of your measurements to access more information.
To add to your measurement and give your doctor more information about your condition at the time of measurement, you can add notes.
