- Make sure the WiFi router is set to 2.4 GHz-only (not dual-band or 5 GHz), WEP/WPA/WPA2 personal security, without any special characters in the SSID (WiFi name) and password, and no more than 16 characters in the password.
- Make sure your iHealth MyVitals app is the legacy version (version 3.13.1).
- Connect your smartphone/tablet to the 2.4 GHz-only WiFi network.
- Press the Set button on the scale’s battery cover and make sure the scale displays “SET.”
- In the MyVitals app, tap on the three horizontal bars in the top left corner to open the manu.
- Choose “Set Up My Devices.”
- If the “Vista” scale is already added, tap on it and select “Reset Wi-Fi,” then follow the on-screen instructions.
- If the scale has not been added to the app, choose “Select New Device,” “Scales,” “Vista (HS5S),” and follow the on-screen instructions.
