In addition to your physical activity, the iHealth Edge analyzes your sleep when you wear it to sleep. This analysis is done like the analysis of your physical activity thanks to its 3-axis accelerometer and its algorithm especially designed. It is an analysis based on your movements and not an analysis based on your brain activity.
Detected movements during sleep are analyzed to provide different information available in a dedicated view in the app after synchronization of youriHealth Edge:
- Total sleep duration
- Duration of light sleep
- Duration of deep sleep
- Duration of time spent awake
- Sleep efficiency
The iHealth Edge automatically enters in sleep mode. So you have nothing else to do than to wear on your wrist when you go to bed.
It also exits the sleep mode automatically when you wake up and make a few steps.
A sleep summary is displayed on the screen and indicates the total sleep duration and sleep efficiency. This summary is available for 30 minutes after the other information visible on the screen.
