Introduction
The iHealth Nexus Pro is a precision electronic instrument intended for adult use. The scale utilizes ITO Thin Film Technology and pressure sensors to seamlessly evaluate body composition values. The results are displayed and stored on either your iOS or Android devices in conjunction with the date and time of the reading.

- 4 × 1.5V AAA Batteries
- 1 × Quick Start Guide
Setup
- Install the 4 AAA batteries provided into the battery compartment. Be sure to orient them according to the + and – images shown in the battery slots.
If you received your iHealth Pro Scale as a part of a healthcare maintenance program, please consult your physician or provider prior to or during use. Otherwise, follow the necessary steps to download and utilize the iHealth Fit with the iHealth MyVitals app available in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. - Download the iHealth MyVitals app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Follow the on-screen instructions to register and set up your iHealth ID.
- On iHealth MyVitals app, tap on the
upper right corner and choose “Scales” then “Nexus Pro (HS2S Pro)”
.
- Confirm your Profile information that is needed for calculating some data points.
- Please make sure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and follow the instruction displayed on the app.
Note - Pairing the scale with your smartphone is done directly from the application. Do not try to pair it with the Bluetooth menu of your smartphone.
The date and time of the scale are automatically updated when connecting with your smartphone. - After the connection is established, take a measurement by standing barefoot on the scale. Being barefoot is required for the bio-impedance sensors to be able to take measurement and give your body composition metrics.
NOTE:
Measurements are taken on lower body and values are extrapolated for entire body. Your weight is measured by sensors placed in the scale. Your body fat, lean mass, muscle mass, bone mass, body water, Body Mass Index (BMI), Daily Calorie Intake (DCI) are calculated with the measurement of the impedance of your lower body. Your visceral fat rating is estimated based on previous values. - Once the connection is established, go barefoot on the scale.
- Place your feet in the center of the scale respecting the precautions for use. Keep the position until your weight appears on the scale and the application.
- The scale only displays the measurement of your weight and body fat. The body mass index and its classification according to the WHO scale are visible in the application as the rest of the body parameters (fat, lean, bone ...).
NOTES ABOUT USING THE SCALE
- Place the iHealth Pro on a hard, flat surface during use. Using the scale on a soft surface like carpet or linoleum may impact the accuracy of measurement.
- Please ensure that the personal information entered into the iHealth app is correct in order to get the most accurate results. The app uses algorithms to calculate additional data points using the weight and body fat in addition to the data that you provide in your profile.
- If the iHealth Fit is shared by users with similar weights, make sure that the phone's Bluetooth is enabled and the scale is nearby. If the scale is not connected to the iHealth app, data may not be recorded accurately.
- The user can set the "Weight-Only" in the iHealth app.
- If being used as a medical device, please consult your physician for usage guideline.
- Please consult your physician prior to using the iHealth Fit scale if you are under 18 years of age, over 65 years old, pregnant, or suffering from Osteoporosis, edema, or artificial Dialysis.
- Regular monitoring of your results is more representative than an isolated value.
Adding a new user
Each user wishing to perform impedance measurements must first register on the scale by following the instructions below. Each user must have their own iHealth account.
- The scale can track up to 8 users for offline measurements (without the application open on the user's account during the measurement).
- For online measurements (with the application open on the user's account), the scale can handle an unlimited number of users.
Add a new user
- Download the iHealth MyVitals app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- Launch the iHealth MyVitals app and sign in to your iHealth account or create a new account.
- Go to
> Scales > Nexus Pro (HS2S Pro) and follow the instructions on the screen.
Wen adding a new user, the scale will want to confirm profile information need for calculating data points. - Once added the scale will confirm that you have been added as an additional user.
Offline measurements
An offline measurement is a measurement made without the iHealth MyVitals app open on your smartphone and account.
The iHealth Nexus Pro (HS2S Pro) scale, identifies the users registered on the scale according to their weight. Once registered on the scale, you can make offline measurements. The results will be saved in a dedicated memory space and synchronized automatically the next time the balance is connected to the smartphone of the user to whom the measurements belong.
Procedure for measurement
- Step on the scale to turn it on.
- Place your feet in the center of the scale respecting the precautions for use. Keep the position until your weight and body fat (if you take measurement barefoot) appear on the scale.
Memory
Storage in memory is done automatically. The iHealth Fit scale can store up to 500 measurements per user. When the memory is full, the new measurements are recorded by overwriting the oldest ones. To avoid losing data, remember to synchronize before the memory is full.
Synchronisation
The offline measurements are automatically synchronized when the user reconnects the scale to his application.
Synchronized results can be viewed in the results list: Under My Devices, Select the Nexus Pro (HS2S Pro).
The icon indicates the offline measures that have been synchronized successfully.
Synchronized results are automatically deleted from the scale's memory.
