If your blood pressure monitor is failing to inflate and you receive an error message regarding pneumatic system leakage, the issue may stem from two possible sources: the cuff and the hose, or the monitor itself. To diagnose the problem, you can perform the following steps:
Hose and Cuff Test:
-
- Attempt blowing through the end of the hose.
- Observe for any signs of leakage in either the hose or the cuff.
- If air escapes from the hose and cuff while blowing, there may be a leak, and the cuff is likely defective.
You can acquire a replacement cuff from our official website at https://ihealthlabs.com/product/cuff-blood-pressure-dock/. Please note that BPM1 requires a different cuff, and for replacement, contact support@ihealthlabs.com.
Monitor Inspection:
-
- If you determine that the cuff and hose are in good condition, the problem might lie with the monitor itself.
- If you purchased the monitor within the last year and it's still under warranty, it may be covered. To initiate a warranty claim, we'll need a proof of purchase, such as an invoice or receipt containing the device's description, date of purchase, PO number, and your name and shipping address. Please send us a screenshot of the receipt or invoice.
If you received this blood pressure monitor from a medical provider, please reaching out to them directly to inquire about a replacement.
