Do not use on anyone who is prone to nosebleeds or has had facial or head injury/surgery in the last 6 months
The nasal swab may affect the Cribriform plate inside the nose. In rare cases where someone has had facial or head injury/surgery, incorrectly using the nasal swab can affect preexisting damage to that plate causing CSF leakage or bleeding.
Please consult your health care provider for more information and ask them instead if you are safe to take our test.
