The iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test has a Use by date that can be found on the back of the box next to a QR code.
The Use by date is in YYYY-MM-DD format.
However, this date on the box may no longer be accurate as we have received multiple 3-month extensions from the FDA.
For the most up to date information, please use our lot number lookup tool found at ihealthlabs.com/expiry
More info:
The extensions granted might not be reflected on the packaging of the test kit depending on when the test kit was manufactured; or if there is a relabel, when the relabel was applied.
The whole kit's Use by date is determined by whichever component expires the soonest - the test card.
When the study team submits requests for extending the Use by date, it's about the test card's performance.
Using an iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test that is past it's extended Use by date may produce invalid or inaccurate test results.
